Based on my experience, this "drawstring hessian jewelry wedding" gift bag was a disappointment .The materials used were cheap and the overall quality was lacking. The only thing I didn’t like about this chair were the legs. Bought some hardware to attached some screw on legs from Ebay. Also purchased legs that were an inch taller than what the chair came with. The color is in between a light beige and dark ivory. I’d say it’s a 6 for comfort 10 being the best. And yes, the chair is small as noted in the dimensions on the listing. This is pretty long on me but I am pretty short. (5' 2') I don't know if it is hem-able but I don't think I want to try because of the fabric. If I wore heels it would work most likely.
