The rug is soft and nice, but the print is absolutely stunning. I've had to use my carpet cleaner on it after a dog accident and I feel like it cleaned up really well. This base makes a great fit project. There are a whole lot of uses for this. My granddaughters wanted to create a lava lamp but wanted it to look like a volcano. They made a cone shaped resin body with three shades of red and a resin spiral smoke stack and placed it on the base. The result is breathtaking.
