We have gone through a lot of dog bowls. Plastic ones chewed, ceramic ones broken, metal ones that are noisy and smell bad. These bowls are great. Looked at at similar brand name bowls and the price is too hard to swallow for me, then I found these at 1/2 the price. They are smaller than their old bowls but I've found the dogs actually don't eat all of their food immediately in these bowls, I'm guessing they think it looks fuller so they are calm that there is plenty for later. Still debating on returning these or not. I’m using brass hardware and these rings don’t match. I know the listing says good, but I know sometimes people use gold to describe brass coloring. This is good, but only gets 4 starts because the "chicken wire" is pretty weak and is easily broken. There were actually a few small holes in the wire when I got it, but they were so tiny I can ignore them. I am guessing this won't last a really long time though.That said, it does the job.
