I've mounted the lamp on a lectern. The supporting springs on the arms seem to be gauged for a mount on a level table and struggle to support the arms when mounted on a tilted lectern top. Also, the adjustable screw for the magnifying glass takes considerable effort to tighten sufficiently to hold the magnifying glass in place.
