Yes, they can burn like hellfire, but it's a small price to pay to finally get some relief from the knee pain and stiffness. I can actually bend my knee without crying and walk around so much better with these pads applied! I ordered 2 pairs. Came out of package wrinkle and fold free. They feel nice and thick and also soft. Great for room darkening as needed. My husband loves them. I purchased these sandals after they were recommend by @withloveleena and I love them. They are way more comfortable than they look, and easily stretch to form around your feet. I haven’t gotten any blisters from them, even in 100+ degree weather. Bare in mind that they are not walking shoes - you could go to dinner or do light shopping in them but there is no arch support. Should cost a third of the price.They are pretty but the beads are hot glued to a piece of felt and the top and bottom are held together by a thread (literally, a single thread).Upon opening, my top and bottom were separated and they twist so much that only the felt is featured when wearing.I love the concept and self sewed them together.
