The hair is light and I like the color, but it was literally a pain having it put in. The loops that get crocheted in are thick/big/non-yielding, so if your corn-rowed braids aren't thick enough, the stylist is putting the crochet hook into those small cornrow braids, that they probably fortified with extra hair, but that are already pulling your scalp. I love these pencils! The colors are beautiful and can be mixed together for various shades. They blend easily and lay down very fast. I would recommend using the coloursoft pencils with paper that have more tooth, rather than smooth paper, since they won't be able to hold the blending and layering that well. Also, I would advise against using solvents, rubbing alcohol, thinning agents, etc. as I find them to muddy up the colors, and why ruin already vibrant and beautiful colors?
