PIVX is a solid project. It has a strong track record of innovation especially the idea of incorporating flexible privacy and do it in an efficient way thanks to proof of stake. I currently belong to the PIVX community and I think it is one of the best. Still I think there is a lot of work to do, especially in the development of a new privacy protocol that shows that after the failure of zerocoin is possible to continue the course of privacy.
Pros
- It handles a flexible privacy and thanks to POS the network behaves quickly. Very low commissions. DAO and a monthly budget to fund proposals made by the community. Handles a dynamic supply of currency, commissions are burned from transactions.
Cons
- The failure of the zerocoin protocol.
