The Beaded Garden: Making Flowers with Beads and Thread

Another amazing book by Diana Fitzgerald! I've always wanted to know how to make pearl flowers and this book will definitely get you started. Unfortunately I haven't sewn these flowers yet, but I definitely plan to do so in the future. I'm a hardworking member of the Beadwork Guild which keeps me busy, so there are many projects waiting for my free time, which isn't much. But one day it will happen, and I will let this book guide me. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Nice pictures but sadly no visual instructions

I am an experienced bead and wire crafter but it has only been in the last few months that I have discovered the amazing and exciting world of beadwork but in this book it's just no. the right amount of visual instructions, even for my novice crafter. I leaf through the pages longingly and would like to do some very interesting projects, but unfortunately I haven't been able to complete any of the projects yet. I especially like making small versions of daffodils. Hopefully one day after a few…

Pros
  • Beautiful construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

So beautiful you want to eat flowers!

I LOVE this book! I started the project as soon as the book arrived and have since completed several others. The instructions are clear, concise and easy to follow. The stitches used are peyote, brick and herringbone to create stunningly beautiful and graceful beaded gardens. I've been making flowers out of French beads (wire) for many years, and while I still love the vintage style they create, the wire texture has never really intrigued me. delivered everything that eludes the bright book…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide
