This is a great product! It's easy to use. The back is marked with grid lines to make straight cutting a breeze. The back easily detaches from the laminate. It sticks to whatever you put on and is the perfect weight for crystal clear protection.

This was just what I needed to laminate a large poster (Figure 1). The backing paper is pre-cut so you can line up the strip along the edge, then use the straight edge to flatten the poster, slowly rolling it to the surface, removing the backing paper as you go. I was a bit frustrated that laminating the back of my poster didn't work but hey it was a dry run for 6 more lol. The item I received has obviously been on the shelf for a very, very long time. The glue cured and every time I tried to peel off the backing paper, the backing split and half stuck to the laminating (glued) material while the rest stuck to the part that needed to be peeled off. , and then trying to peel off the pad took all my strength.
