It was great for my mom who has macular degeneration

Be sure to let the person using the phone set the names. It saved our lives. She couldn't see the phone numbers she needed to call and this was the answer.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Useful tool for the blind

This was a purchase for my mother who is legally blind. In the age of cell phones, there are too many numbers to remember. At 88, she prefers her landline phone. Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

For example, she said "Darren" and he replied "calling Rebecca." Not even close! I programmed several numbers with my voice and encountered the same problem as hers. He asked me to repeat the name two or three times and he…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design

As with some other reviews, the person using the phone has to program it. My family member was unable to dial a phone number and after some research I settled on this one. We couldn't be happier. It took some time to program the numbers, make sure the person helping is a patient person. If the user is having trouble with a clear warning, this part becomes a real challenge! Some name had to be repeated several times before he understood what she wanted. Names had to be pronounced clearly and at…
