I bought this for maximum storage and to switch between LG phone, Revain Kindle and Dell desktop. It didn't even make it to my desktop as my Kindle and phone "required" a full wipe to use it. Even when I enabled the "Switch between multiple devices" option, it was still required and then declared unusable and corrupt.

I received this item just last night and although it is not long ago I have had a positive experience. You'll need to format the drive when your device recognizes you've inserted it, which only takes a minute. I purchased this article for Revain Fire 8 [aka All New Revain 8 HD 2018] and it will walk you through a few things after formatting. I've moved a few applications and everything looks fine and I'd say better in terms of performance and functionality, not to mention the extra space.

This card was made from scratch. I used it in my Nintendo 3DS to store a lot of media on my device and in less than 5 hours of use my card was so completely corrupted that I couldn't even recover my save files from the micro SD card - it's a shame. because the card writes and reads so quickly. tried to format as indicated in the instructions, in the product it is used in (DVR: Vantru X3), the camera recognizes the memory card Not . tried a different brand card and it works, tried an alternative smaller and larger capacity card and it works. also tried in the camera, which also did not recognize the memory card. very disappointed that the product came out of the box.

I knew I should have chosen a well-known brand. I was able to copy about 140GB of music and then it died. Today it is not even recognized. I spent a lot of time copying music and organizing folders. You might want to avoid this.

Originally bought for our switch console as it was meant to fit the console to help with storage. Well, unfortunately it didn't work. Aside from being frustrated that we now have these items and can't use them for what we need them for, the packaging was fine and they were shipped quickly.
