I wanted to raise the lampshades a bit. Since the lampshades are currently on the base of the bulb, the lampshade wobbled and tilted every time I turned on the light. But he couldn't figure out what size harp to buy. This is great as they can be adjusted to different sizes. Unfortunately they pulled the blinds too high exposing the outlet and lightbulbs. Obviously modern lamps and lampshades are not intended for use with harps.

I bought this for a table lamp that didn't originally come with the harp. While I love the adjustable concept, the design does have a few flaws with the two springy sides - they are NOT very springy! It took a lot of fiddling to get the 2 prongs at the base to even hold the 2 sides of the harp - they just don't fit together. This matches my table lamp but I found it to be too much of a hassle with this and would not buy this particular model again I would buy another.

It seems like it's fine for standard hardware - the harp goes pretty well with this ring - but it's utterly useless with the Uno -Adapter bells. The harp is too loose in the Uno ring. It wobbles and wobbles, can fall apart easily, and it's impossible to make the shadow even or stable. Luckily I still had a harp from the old lamp on hand; this harp fits this uno ring and i was able to use it although it is not adjustable in height.
