Terrible software. Image quality is even worse. if you don't like faded photos. don't buy that. One star is too many for this fake.

I have a 1200-UB scanner. I love it but I just upgraded it to Windows XP. My scanner disk is for Windows 98. How do I install it?

Sorry for the negative but I just bought this scanner and found it almost useless. I have a very modern computer with Windows ME. Despite this, the scanner worked SLOWLY, the quality of the images it output was disgusting, the software crashed more often than it worked. If you don't want to watch paint dry, skip this step. I know it seems like a bargain but the only thing that impressed me about this product is that you don't need an AC adapter. A star is generous.

Great scanner at a great price. Excellent quality and color. Highly rated in consumer reports. However, your Macintosh plugin currently only works with Photoshop 5.5 or earlier. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

When I ordered this product, for some reason they sent me two of them. Unfortunately the first one I plugged in and used made a terrible noise and didn't work well. Apparently it got damaged somewhere along the line. Since I already had another one I tried another one and it worked like a charm. For such an inexpensive scanner, it scans relatively quickly even at high resolutions. Comes with I-Photo Plus software, which looks like childish software on screen but is a pretty powerful image…
