Carefully! - Rattles and plush rings

Startles young children with a loud noise when hitting a hard floor. Be careful! I love this ball because it distracts. I hate this ball because kids throw it and it can be dangerous because of that cute rattle in the middle. I've had a few fights with this guy, it's not the best idea for an infant/toddler class but it can be a valuable learning tool and a great ball to roll back and forth with a toddler.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

It is convenient for a child to take!

My twin grandkids love Oball Rollin' Rainstick! I gave it to them when they were 5 months old and no one had trouble grabbing and holding the ball. The color is nice and bright and they are easy to follow when the other twin is playing with them! They have had this ball for over 2 months and are still attracted to it and I have a feeling they will enjoy this ball for a long time. I am very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

My baby loves this toy

My 5 month old loves this toy. His grip improved as he got older but it was one of the first toys he could hold with his limited abilities when I bought it for him and that's because it's so easy to grab. The sound catches his attention and I'm not sure if he sees the little balls in the middle, but he seems to be looking at them when I move them. They cascade down, which is pretty cool. I liked this toy so much that I gave it to a friend who has a child of the same age.

Not just for babies

We first bought this toy for our 10 month old because it was very popular at the children's museum. The balls are generally hits. However, this one stands out compared to other balls or even other Oballs. Open sides make it easier to grip. But it's the rain cover in the middle that makes this toy special. When shaken or shaken, it emits a pleasant rattling sound. It's loud enough to please a child and quiet enough not to disturb people who don't like noise. As with any rainstick, turning this…

Pros
  • Easy to use

  • Lots of stuff

Great concept but too big for small hands

I have several Oball products and was dying to like this one. The idea is great - my son loves watching the beads seep through the layers. Unfortunately I should have paid more attention to the description as the 6" diameter is too big for his small hands. We have had it for three months now and my one year old son has only played with it for two or two years. three times. This is maybe the best option for older toddlers, but if you have a young child I'd recommend trying the Oball shaker or…
