Although it smells like essential oils, I wouldn't use it or any other scent on a small newborn. BUT, for older children and toddlers or for sick people with sensitive skin, I think this is a good wash. It has a fairly strong but pleasant natural lavender scent. Update: I posted my review a year ago and found out about one of its ingredients, phenoxyethanol. Phenoxyethanol is a controversial stabilizer/preservative used in many cosmetic products.
