Gave me an incorrect reading

There may have only been 2 units sent to me. The first block was broken and rumbled with internal components. The second unit said my 2m radio was off the charts at SWR. I checked everything with a voltmeter, everything is normal. When I clicked on the Diamond SWR power meter, it showed I only got 0.8 on the SWR scale. This calculator didn't work for me at all.

Inaccurate shape

I tested my yaesu FT-70D at 70cm and it showed 20W (I don't think HT can do that) then I tested it. at 2 m and shows a power of 2 watts. In both tests it was set to high (yes, FT70D should have a max output of 5W). I also tried to test my Anytone d578 and it says it puts out 100w of power at 70cm (max output should be 50w). Don't waste money

Too small to read

I returned this item because it was too small to read the scale without good lighting. If I saw it in a store, I wouldn't even buy it for that reason. So true? It's hard to say without laboratory equipment. But as with all radio systems, there are many variables that affect meter readings, so meter readings may not match advertised radio performance. This does not mean that the counter is wrong. Antenna mismatch is the main cause of this problem. If your eyes are better than mine, this might…
