Don't make out, Solder.

A good replacement for marine engine fuse holders. Many complain that they are difficult to compress. Looking at this connector it doesn't look like it was designed to be crimped. Simply strip the wire, plug in the connector and solder. This ensures a lifetime connection, especially when it comes to vibration.

Pros
  • Electric
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

The case is quite strong and thick, but the metal wires holding the fuse are quite fragile. It looks like it has a nice nickel or chrome plating, but I bent both ends trying to crimp the wires so tight I couldn't salvage them. Still happy with the product when I decided to solder the wires.

Pros
  • Fuse Holder
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

Only for 20A in fuse blocks and fuse holders

One might argue that this is obviously for a 20A fuse, but it is not. I needed a 15A fuse holder, which is a bad decision; and I agree with a lot of people complaining that crimping isn't that easy/error prone. If the manufacturers wrote something capitalized: 20 fuse holder (and we switch on the 20A fuse), everything would be fine.

Pros
  • Fuse blocks and fuse holders
Cons
  • Some minor things
