We have used a set of these locks for when traveling.

We have used a set of these locks while traveling for 9 months in India and the rest of South East Asia. Almost every place we stayed had some sort of wardrobe in the room. Of course it's not 100% secure, but you just added extra security and made it MUCH harder for someone to steal you. Also, many hostels require a deposit or fee for locks, so a lock comes in handy! It's small and cute, and it can cling to your backpack when not in use. It

  • Some problems

The first one has completely failed and is stuck in the closed position. I literally went through all the possible combinations in case they accidentally changed, and nothing. On the way, I tied the bag to an immovable object, and suddenly it was permanently attached. So we took the wire cutters and started working on the cable and about halfway through when I was pulling on the cable with the wire cutters the lock suddenly opened. However, it then got stuck in the open position (with the right
