Recommend Light Duty

These will work as a horizontal band saw blade guide for my purpose, but I would not use them in an engine. Noticeable play in the camp.

Pros
  • βœ” Expert - Production of professional grade roller bearings began in 1945.
Cons
  • Obsolete

excellent value for money

I'm using this to replace the blade guide bearings at a sawmill for cargo shipping in the port. They fit perfectly and are at least as good as the originals. Bearings are part of routine sawmill maintenance and a perfect fit.

Pros
  • βœ” Gasket - maintains lubrication and prevents ingress of contaminants.
Cons
  • Very expensive

What can I say? That's them.

What can I say? These are the same ones that were on my Chinesium band saw and cost less than 1/10th the cost of OEM replacements. I don't understand why anyone would design a blade guide with a radial load bearing to handle axial loads, but Delta has been doing this for over 40 years and has made a fortune off parts. My students make sure they don't last long, but at a dollar a pop I have enough to last me until I retire (hopefully!). They are also working on small Carter rails for deltas.

Pros
  • βœ” 100% dimensional accuracy check for optimal assembly.
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared
