OKEx is the leading global bitcoin exchange. Secured with bank-level SSL encryption and cold storage. Currently, according to CoinMarketCap statistics, OKEx is ranked 5th in total trading volume 24 hours (over $ 1 billion, the largest transaction is BTC / USDT),OKEx provides a safe, it might be a little overwhelming for complete beginners who might do well to start at an exchange like Binance which doesn’t offer quite as many options for trading and has a simplified trading screen.

Pros

OKEX is one of the few crypto-exghanges which offers a stand-alone desktop platform. While you may be used to browser-based trading, there are a few advantages to having a separate piece of software. Okex has really grown to a renowned exchange since the turn of 2017 and the volume currently traded on the exchange speaks loud about how much people accept and trade there. Cons

There isn’t much information on OKEx’s site regarding its internal security mechanisms. Two-factor authorization can be set up during account creation, and OKEx gives detailed instructions for changing administrator passwords, but the details of OKEx’s security scheme are well hidden. This is surprising, given the exchange’s near-constant popups detailing which countries are currently banned from the exchange.
