I bought this a few months ago and decided to wait a bit before writing this review as I wanted to see how the stubble falls off with use. When I bought it I wasn't too keen on it as it smelled very strange. I don't know why but I've read similar reviews from people saying it smelled funny when they originally bought it. There was also a significant loss of stubble at first. But he has a good load on the bristles, so he doesn't get that bad. Also after some use I noticed that the stubble loss is almost gone as well as the strange smell. This brush is now stable enough for my shave. I gave 3 stars for a not so good experience when I bought this. I didn't expect a new brush to smell like this when I bought it. Also, I wouldn't expect much bristle loss when it's new. I have an Edwin Jagger brush and it has worked great from day one.
