Ok.depending on your material you are molding with makes a difference in apparence. I havent tried a clear resin with the mold yet but i tried quick setting white two part resin and the result turned out a little bit duller in shine without buffin, but all the little detaials were picked up fine. I also used gypsum concrete in the mold and it worked like a charm. The bottle were the rignt size the my size projects but bigger items i would suggest you order more.

This stuff is great, but it doesn’t go particularly far. It’s takes a decent amount to make even a small mold. While it’s fun to make and works as it should, it’s a pretty expensive way to get a mold made. So I tried this out as both a mold and a little 3in x 1in deep figurine.It's definently great stuff for mold making, and this is some tough silicone when it comes to trying to tear it apart. This is a fun product to learn the basics of casting, but has some serious downsides. While it is easy to clean once mixed, cleaning random drips or spills of unmixed solution is a pain. It’s slimy and leaves residue behind. But if it’s already mixed, just wait for any spills to dry. It’s fun to clean up then!The biggest downside for me is the lack of detail in the cast. Hi!So I've been in search of silicone that was a bit softer then their persimmon (orange) colored silicone (which is also excelent btw!). This moldmaking media lived up to its claims of easy pouring, and stretch ability.The problem I have with it, is that it somehow changed the surface of the soap, chemically, so it was like trying to lather with a bar of plastic. No amount of running it under water and rubbing it, would get any soap off of it to lather with. I had to scrape off a significant layer of soap to get to soap that would lather.So I found this to be a useless mold making kit.

Im no stranger to casting, but something in this is eating my hot glue. My smooth on moldstars dont to this but this is the 2nd attempt to make molds for a 3d print with this, it separates the hot glue then the part floats to the top. Ive completely wasted money now and have a mess everywhere. Never had this problem ever. Not like i can get a refund but seriouly this is bad. Yes its almost as thin as water and cured it is nice and rubbery but its eating hot glue. Thats just weird.

Super stretchy and easy to de-mold my resin products.Keeps the detail very well and I’ve used the mold with quite a few very intricate things a minimum of ten times without it deforming or tearing at all.

East to mix and pour and turned out just as I expected. However, the purchase quantity of 21.26 oz is the weight, not the volume. It is actually two 9 fl oz bottles for a total of 18 fl oz, which makes 32 cubic inches of mold. When I opened the box and saw the size of the bottles, I ordered a second set to make sure I had enough.

This stuff is awesome. If you can pour an even amount of each part into a cup and stir it up, you can make it. It's a very thin consistency and degasses on it's own, so you don't need a vacuum chamber or anything. Just make sure you have your mold box tightly sealed as it is very thin and flowable. It is also suuuuper flexible which is what I was looking for. I made a 3D mold with it and was able to get the item out with no trouble, unlike the inflexible stuff I had previously that I had to…

Good product for the price. Make sure to get your ratios right though or the silicone doesent set up right. It takes a good long while for it to set up too.

It firms up nice and solid, but when I went to demold my product, the bottom was sticky and slimy. I let it air dry about a week or two and washed them. They seem to be not so sticky. Haven't used them yet.

The first time I used a silicone mold was duplicating some lost battery covers for home phones. I simply buried one I wanted to copy into a mold, and I was able to easily make extras using polyurethane resin. I was impressed that even the lightly-textured surfaces were authentically reproduced in the duplicate. Worked great and was easy to use. Having never really made my own silicon molds before I wasn't sure if I would like it so I ordered this smaller quantity. However, I've been very please with it and how simple it is to use. The molds I'm making are pretty small so I've managed to make quite a few molds out of these small bottle. Sets up super fast too. Now that I know it works will be ordering a larger quantity in the future.

Easy to mix, I used two clear plastic cups to make sure the mix was right. Make sure to stir it up well, I didn’t have issues with stickiness. Great detail from the mold. It does get small bubbles, I’ll be trying again with a vacuum device to see if I can get rid of them

If I could give zero stars, I would. I followed the directions to a tee, I measured perfectly. I did this a few separate times. It never set up, it didn’t work at all. I am a professional makeup artist and have used other brands. This is pure garbage. I reached out to the seller and never heard back. Complete waste of money.

The final mold had lots of little bubbles. Not the greatest if you are looking to cast something with a super smooth surface.

This mixed up well with a 1:1 ratio so it was very easy to measure both parts. It mixed together well, and poured in to make the mold without any problems. It cured evenly without any bubbles and resin used in the finished mold all came out without any problems.
