This is a fun product to learn the basics of casting, but has some serious downsides. While it is easy to clean once mixed, cleaning random drips or spills of unmixed solution is a pain. It’s slimy and leaves residue behind. But if it’s already mixed, just wait for any spills to dry. It’s fun to clean up then!The biggest downside for me is the lack of detail in the cast. It keeps the shape and the main, deep, details but any fine detail is lost. Additionally, I’ve noticed on flatter spots it tends to wave a bit, giving the final cast a not smooth surface.This stuff is good for learning and non-detail specific casting.
