I was worried about getting them because I seen the word Gel. I was thinking it’s going mess up my Bible pages and stick together the pages. But I was wrong. They work amazing. No bleeding no sticky pages. And they are light enough to see what you highlighted and still colorful enough to enjoy looking at. Perfect for bibles or anyone who love Bible journaling like I do. The gel highlighters work much better than the old fashion kind mostly because they don't bleed through to pages underneath. I would have chosen a different brand if I had realized the caps do not fit on the back of the highlighter so it's hard to keep track of them when in use. Lost caps are going to be the reason I don't order this brand again.

I was looking for something that would not smear the ink on my self-printed pages (ink-jet printer) and these do work well for this purpose. I did take points off because the cap does not fit on the end of the pen, so I am constantly losing them. It is possible that is not really a problem as it is with liquid highlighters that dry out if not kept capped., but I would not want to carry them around without the cap on.I also do not really like the fact that the point flattens out very quickly.

I use these for my daily Bible study. My Bible has VERY thin pages (it's from 1977 if that tells you anything). These do bleed through a bit, but not enough to obscure words on the back side of the page. I LOVE that one of the pens is a light aqua! How I wish they'd make entire packages of just that color as I use it a LOT! I don't do the inductive manner of marking, keeping the colors confined to the subject at hand. Loved this product! I originally got it with the intention of using it on my bible. However, since I’m still waiting on my bible to arrive I tested these on some lined paper. They are very vibrant and don’t bleed through! The consistency is like a wax crayon so when you do use them you can see some white grit from the paper. First, let me tell my fellow tactile readers that these highlighters feel amazing - like a super-soft, barely-there wax, as they glide smoothly across passages in your Bibles. I don't usually write negative reviews, but these gel highlighters are so soft that they actually change shape as you are trying to highlight a passage, resulting in total lack of precision. Many Bibles (which the marketing says are good items to use these on) have some pretty small print, and these would cause the highlighting of areas not intended. Sloppy looking at best. Also, used on index cards, the coverage was actually uneven, leaving white spots as if gliding over the top of a mottled…

Twist-up highlighter. The application has a crayon feel with a smooth velvet consistency. They glide across the paper fabulously. They are on the chubby side and can feel a bit odd when dealing with the tip because it is wider than that of a crayon. Having said that, I would repurchase. If they make these in a narrower circumference they would be 10 out of 10.

I have used many different hi lights for my Bible. I have found these to have no residue at all. It glides on smooth. The colors are very colorful and yet faint enough to not block print. I really like them. Use them throughout the week.

I thought these colors would be a little more muted/pastel than they actually are. The colors are actually pretty vibrant. Otherwise, they work just as expected. Perfect for highlighting in my Bible, and a good value for the price.

I've recently gotten into journaling and love using fun highlighters. I've never heard of gel high lighters before and I'm so glad I gave these a chance. The best way to describe these are translucent crayons. The way they mark the page is very crayon like. You can even smear the "gel" into the paper a bit. Either way they are perfect for highlighting and do not bleed through. Love these!

I use highlighters to mark my completed stitches on cross stitch patterns. These pens are so sheer and smooth, and most importantly, I've not experienced any bleeding across the paper. I've really been enjoying using all the pretty colors. my pattern had ended up as pretty as my cross stitch piece!

These markers work beautifully. They go on smoothly and do not bleed through thin Bible pages. I will order these again when I need replacements. My only drawback is that I wish I could order individually as well as in the 10 pack. If I use one color more than the others, I will need to purchase an entire pack to replace that one. Just began using these in my super-thin-pages Note Taker's Bible and they work wonderfully. Naturally, you're going to see the faintest hue on the reverse side of the paper (as you can likewise see the Bible's own print) but with no bleed-through. This is the second pack of highlighters I bought I bought a previous brand and I bought these because I needed more colors for school work but ended up liking these better than the ones I'm currently using. Colors are smoother as it's not a crayon type texture, and if you don't press deeply, they should last a good little bit.

I've used these scripture highlighters for the past 6 months and they're the best I've used. And for the price they can't be beat. They don't bleed through at all. There is a great selection of colors too. They don't have a strong chemical smell and they haven't dried out yet either.
