My sister's kids (ages 10-15) have an older model Swagtron that moves slower and does not have independent foot petals. My kids has a blast riding their older model Swagtron at their house on carpet (my kids are 6 and 9). We opened these newer model Swagtons and they are WAY too powerful for young kids. Wound up being too small for my head. Doesn't sit low enough, and sides are too tight, and only adjustment is if your head is longer front to back, and in my case that didn't do anything. Just installed and now I need to remove them all again to return them. These are very noisy. Just replaced really old ones—that made absolutely no noise—with these new ones. These make my house sould like an old squeaky house everytime someone opens or closes a door. Its so loud that it even wakes up my kids when someone wakes up to go to the bathroom at time.
