Reliable Replacement Battery For MacBook 13-Inch Aluminum Version A1278 A1280 - 45WH Capacity Review

I bought the battery for a late 2008 macbook that I've had since about 2008. With the ssd upgrade I've made to it and being reasonable with screen brightness and other settings, I'm getting around 5-6 hours of running time. So far, so good. Just one small concern after a few days the battery would only charge to 99%. Other than, that great experience all around.

Absolutely worked! My MacBook wouldn’t hold any charge for the longest time. Only time I could use it was if it was plugged into the wall. Now I can take it with me and it lasts a good 3 hours, it’s bearable.

This is 2nd replacement of original battery in 2008 MacBook; battery life is adequate for most daily work. It may not be able to fit in all MacBook cases!

The battery is fully charged but my computer won't turn on. It's completely depleted. It's like this battery has a lifetime of 3 days. Unbelievable.Edit: seller sent me a new battery that seams to hold the charge and work better. It's not true that there is no customer service. Just contact them through their website.

I have a Late 2008 MacBook Aluminum. This replacement battery fit perfect and experienced no problems with either software or hardware at installation and so far for 2 weeks of daily normal use. Charge holds just like the original as expected. Packaging was solid. Arrived on time.

This battery is working well in my late 2008 MacBook Pro. No problems and has lasted way longer than my old stock battery.

Picked up this battery as a replacement for my now Linux Apple laptop it works well has about Two hours with constant heavy usage which for $30 is not too bad at all this seems solid so far will update in coming months

Battery life is great, it feels good to finally unplug my MacBook and being able to work anywhere in my house. Very easy to install and great product for my money. Working great so far!

The battery showed up nice and new. On time if is wasn't for my putting in the wrong address which was fixed over the phone thanks to the support staff. Battery holds power and fits right in (plug and play) my mac book late 2008. Great deal.

Started out well, but showing funny symptoms. NOT fully charging at times. NOT charging at a consistant speed. DIES almost instantly when it reaches below 10%.

Can't say how long it will last, because I just got it a few days ago. What I can say is that it fit perfectly and charged up quickly. Allowed me to work over two hours on first charge. So initial impression is very good. Hopefully it works for a long time.

I purchased thiis battery on the fact that it was 5200mah.in fact it says on the battery that arrived 4200 mah which is the factory capacity.I was hoping to essentially get 1/4 more capacity. Battery checks out in system profile at 4345mah! Battery says right on it 10.8v @45wh which translate to 4200mah.keeping it because I am sure it's better than my old one but disappointed that it's not higher capacity.

I have an 8 year old Mac. The original battery only lasted about five years. My first replacement battery, which was purchased at a brick and mortar big box electronics store, and which cost over $100, never worked well. I ordered this one through ebay for much less money. I've had the battery about one month and I have no complaints. It charges fast and holds the charge well. I recommend it.

I bought this battery to replace one purchased a year ago that failed. That one cost nearly four times as much as this one and it claimed to have a higher capacity. However my Powerbook seems to run for about the same amount of time as it did with the more expensive battery. This battery is a great value for the cost.

It fit right in on the laptop like the original battery. It definitely holds charge and does not heat up. Very good quality battery.

I have ordered 3rd party batteries in the 2 times in the past for my 2008 unibody aluminum MacBook and this is by far the best. Holds the charge very well for over 2 and a half hours. Would recommend this battery highly. Would order again.

My 10 year old MacBook was starting to have charging issues and the battery wouldn't last long. This battery fixed those problems.

My original computer battery had kicked the bucket and would instantly die if not plugged in. This battery was easy to install and has allowed me to work on my computer for an hour or so without being plugged into the wall. So nice!
