Good value for the cost

Purchased to make hanging baskets. I'm pretty new to macrame, but I've dipped my hands in it before. I purchased the 547 yard thinking it was a little thicker. I'm trying to make a hanging basket with it. And I think maybe more rope to make it thicker. Like instead of using 8 strands. Maybe 16? I might be able to find more use for it in the garden. There are a few hitches in the thread but overall its ok.

Pros
  • Perfect for beginners and experienced crafters alike
Cons
  • Can snap under too much weight

Darker and thicker than expected.

This rope is very soft but it’s thicker and darker than expected. I’m using it for a large piece and I’m a disappointed because there were several spots where the cord was spliced and I had to cut big pieces out to remove them. And that threw off the size of my cuts. Also compared to other "natural” colored this is much darker. It’s not bad but don’t expect an off white color, this is definitely more tan. The pictures I’ve included a dog collar I made using another companies "natural 3mm” cord…

Pros
  • Beautiful rope
Cons
  • Prone to fraying

lots of defects: my feedback

I have ordered multiple rolls of this cord and have been very happy. However, the most recent one has multiple defects in the cord requiring me to throw out a lot of cord. Also inconsistency in the diameter of the cord. I hope this is an isolated roll and not an issue with product quality.

Pros
  • Colorful Cord Rope: ZOUTOG Macrame cord has a very beautiful natural color, makes this cotton rope more attractive for artisan of all levels with beginners to advanced skills as it is easy on your eyes. Makes your tapestries or plant hangers look very gorgeous.
Cons
  • Can take a long time to dry

Will work great for my purpose

It wasn't quite what I expected, and the color is off from the pictures. BUT, it will work just fine for the purpose I bought it for, and the price was good.It seems strong and consistent throughout.

Pros
  • Soft and comfortable to work with
Cons
  • May not be soft enough for some people's tastes

Amazing product! on my review.

Absolutely love it! It is so nice to work with and got so much for such a great price! Will definitely be buying again! That's my feedback.

Pros
  • A great gift for craft enthusiasts and people who love DIY projects
Cons
  • Can fray when cut

Beautiful color and feel

I found this to be a very soft an comfortable cord for macrame, however it has a tendency to untwist or unravel while working with it. It’s a shame because the cotton is a beautiful neutral color and I love the look but it’s a tad annoying to work with.

Pros
  • The natural texture of the cotton rope adds a unique touch to any project
Cons
  • May not be available in certain countries or regions

Nice material - my new review

I’m a macrame beginner and this was perfect to try some new projects.it’s very pretty and easy to work with.I’ll definitely be buying more :)

Pros
  • A naturally beautiful material that is perfect for showcasing plants and other natural elements
Cons
  • Can require extra care to prevent tangling during storage

All about preference

Very rope like, thick and almost rigid. The ends frayed quickly while working. It’s a decent amount of rope and maybe I just like working with a softer texture. Bottom line, not for me personally but other than fraying it’s a good deal.

Pros
  • A high-quality product that is durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use with certain decorations

Great for the price and great for beginners

These are my very first projects. This cord is perfect for beginners. Enough material on each spool to complete several medium plant hangers and smaller wall hangings or one to two large projects. Great product.

Pros
  • I love it for work with a lot of different crafts.
Cons
  • It wasn't as thick as I ordered. And it was about a week late.

This just became the only brand I use

My favorite rope cord so far! I’ve used 4 other brands and this one has exceeded my expectations. I purchased 3 spools and used 2 so far. My first spool had no breaks or tie ups. My 2nd spool had 1 break. It was expected. If you’re familiar with macrame or similar projects like crotchet you should always check lengths, breaks and knots prior to working anyway, so I definitely recommend you check before you work. I would recommend this brand 100%. Color, size, durability and softness were all…

Pros
  • Easy to find and purchase online or in craft stores
Cons
  • Can be too heavy for some projects

Great value for very fine cord

This is great cord. Fast shipping and great quality and length. It was my first time working with 2mm cord. Usually I work with 4mm. If using this for macrame hanging, please take into consideration that it will not provide thick knots and will take twice as much cord. I’ve also o learned that the thinner the cord the more it tangles at the bottom of your hanging, making it irritating to constantly untangle the bottom of you work.

Pros
  • The thickness of the cord allows for more elaborate and intricate designs
Cons
  • May be too stiff for some techniques

Great for basket making

I bought this to make baskets. It is great quality. I dyed it with craft acrylic paint in lots of color by soaking in water with paint. Then I dried and sewed and sewed.

Pros
  • Seems thinner than other 2mm cord, but it actually has worked out well.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to work with

Great product. good for me

Had bought this product previously and needed more. They were out! What?! I couldn't find this size any where. They soon had it back in stock so I could finish my project, macrame trim for curtains.

Pros
  • Quality Cotton Cord: perfect for any macrame project such as plant hangers, wall hangings, curtains, bags etc. It is a 4-strand twisted 100% cotton cord.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to tie securely

Beautiful macrame rope

I love this macrame rope and have made numerous items from it, including a small hammock, macrame wallhangings and macrame plant hangers. It's soft, twisted 3-ply cotton rope and handles beautifully. My only complaint about it is that there was a splice in the rope about 3/4 of the way to the core of the spool or rope. That meant wasted rope, which is a big deal to me.

Pros
  • A versatile material that can be used for both indoor and outdoor projects
Cons
  • Can cause discomfort when handling for long periods of time

Easy to work with: my feedback

I like this cord for smaller projects. Its easy to work with and brushed out great for that soft end look. May not be strong enough for large plant hangers.

Pros
  • Macrame & Knotting
Cons
  • May not be strong enough for large plant hangers

Of all my Macrame Rope this is my fav.

This one works so great. I have bought about 10 rolls of different brands and this by far is the best one! That's my feedback.

Pros
  • I gave this as a gift. They loved it.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to clean

Used for COVID mask-making

I'm using this for COVID face masks, so I appreciated the quick service! I can't sew masks fast enough to kerp up with demand. The cord is nice and soft, so it won't be uncomfortable behind the neck. It does fray at the cut ends, so I'm dabbing with FrayCheck. Two strands of the 3 mm cord do fit through the single hole of a sliding cord lock (toggle), so the mask wearer can snug it up for a tight but comfortable fit.

Pros
  • The high-quality material ensures that it will not break or fray easily
Cons
  • Can be too plain or boring for some tastes

Great rope for beginners project

This is a great rope for multiple projects. Its affordable and the quality is great. Fringes so remember to put tape at the ends during projects and removing when done, it great if you want to make simple plant hangers or macrame wall hangings.

Pros
  • Beautiful color and Good size for smaller, intricate macrame, weaving, and crafting.
Cons
  • Too thick for some projects

Macrame Cord! good for me

I love this cord for macrame! I am just starting to learn how to do it and I was struggling to find the best cord to use or what thickness. I ended up getting the 4mm and it is holding a plant that weighs about 9 pounds when watered. It is perfect!

Pros
  • Holds knots well, making it easy to create intricate designs
Cons
  • Can require more patience than other materials

Nice color! in my review

This is a nice, natural color, less of a white hue and closer to a cream hue. I like it! Also soft and nicely manageable for knitting.

Pros
  • This cord is sturdy and didn't separate while I was working with it.
Cons
  • Not suitable for outdoor use
