Review on 🌧️ Altura Photo Professional Camera Rain Cover: Rain Gear for Canon Nikon Sony DSLR & Mirrorless Cameras by Adam Madden

Works EXCELLENT within its limits.

I tried one and liked it so much I bought my own. Within its limits, it's a great camera raincoat. section, you need to make sure the Velcro is NOT tight enough to allow the front of the lens to rotate off the cap without much resistance. The clear plastic on the back is flexible and not easy to see, especially when there are water drops on it. I just lift the back of the cap so I can look straight into the eyepiece. Wearing a peaked hat helps. - You MUST be careful when putting away your gear. All water from the lid drains and you don't want it dripping onto your camera. This applies to ALL rain covers for cameras - if it works in light and light rain. You can, but I wouldn't use it in heavy rain because that's when the problem becomes with me and how wet I get. I will NOT risk my personal gear in the RAIN. Prudence is the best part of bravery. I would NOT use it in my head in windy rain as the rain blows onto the front of the lens. And after a short time, the images become unusable. Those of you who wear glasses in the rain will see what I mean. I use them when playing soccer or lacrosse, from 70 to 200.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Price piggy bank
