Review on Chevrolet-Compatible Radio Stereo CD Replacement Pocket Kit for Seamless Integration by Nick Winnett

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not bad, but could be a lot better.

I bought this particular brand because there were 2 of them. This meant no holes in the back, and I was able to easily attach a sticky felt liner to texturize the bottom. Unfortunately the part was missing 4 screws needed to assemble the bag. I called the manufacturer who initially refused to make the product. They concluded that it is still marked under the old part number in their system. They refused to send any equipment and said to speak to the seller. Revain allowed me to return it but I had to pay for shipping. I bought some screws locally for a dollar or two and hit the road. Installation is pretty easy as you just slide it into the hole until it clicks. It takes good strength. When it was in place, the mating edge bulged out between the halves, exposing the pins used to align the two pieces. Maybe one day I'll try to fix it, but I don't want to take it off. The bag is a good size and now I have a comfortable place for my phone, charger or other things. In addition, the adhesive felt sticks very well to plastic and looks professional. ($1.50 at local hobby store)
