2011 Lexus IS250: my feedback

Fit and worked perfectly for the engine compartment covers for a 2011 Lexus IS250. Yes, cosmetically they are slightly different than the OEM but they get the job done. Great value for the price. Would definitely buy again.

Pros
  • very inexpensive
Cons
  • too small to work properly

Not OEM, but effective (2004 Toyota Corolla CE)

I bought these clips specifically to replace the missing ones from the plastic splash guards under the engine compartment. They appear very similar to the OEM parts and function the same way, albeit with marginally looser tolerances. As a result, they do not shore up the panels quite as tightly as the OEM clips, but they do a passable job holding things together. They haven't yet shaken loose over the several days since they've been installed, as some brands I've tried in the past have. For this

Pros
  • Package: 25Pcs each package
Cons
  • The screws may be too bulky or cumbersome to work with, particularly in tight spaces or complex installations

Not exactly what my car had originally but these work great

These are simple to use and there are plenty of them as well. I put the rest in my glove box so I know where to find them. They were so easy to install and worked perfectly, I even replaced the good clips in my car.

Pros
  • I recommend
Cons
  • The OEM number may not match your specific make and model, leading to confusion and potential errors during installation

Way better than OEM clips on GX460

These are way beefier and much easier to remove than the oem clips. So far I’ve replaced all of them under the hood of a 2016 GX460, including the hood sound insulation and all the various plastic trim covering the engine components. The own clips tend to break, especially when removing/attaching when cold. These are much sturdier and hold up better.

Pros
  • it's easy to install and perfect fit .
Cons
  • The product may be prone to damage during installation, resulting in additional costs or repairs

works well good for me

Used these to replace broken retainers both in my Lexus LS 460 and RX 350 engine bay to fasten the plastic covers. Have not tried to remove them as yet, but if they do v=break, I have plenty remaining. For appearance, they look exactly like the original Lexus retainers.

Pros
  • Just as described and it works
Cons
  • The product may be overpriced compared to similar products on the market

Fits my 2017 Lexus LX570

Works as good as OEM and at a fraction of the price.I was missing a couple of these clips in the wheel well and the engine cover. My local Indy mechanic didn't have the correct sized clips in stock so I went and bought a small bag of 40 clips from revain. They worked GREAT. Pro tip: use a rubber mallet to safely pound the clip down and securely.

Pros
  • Easy Installation: It would be easy for you to install it with this hex head screw, fit your car tightly and won’t be loosened as time passing
Cons
  • The product may be difficult to use in combination with other parts or equipment required for installation

Trunk liner clip for 07' Camry

Clips and holds trunk liner into place if you ever have to change a brake light bulb you'd eventually lose a few of the original clips over time. This fit my 07' Toyota Camry SE perfectly. Just remembered that it's two pieces, not one, that secures the clip so it clicks into place.

Pros
  • It worked for my camry 2015 car
Cons
  • The product may be made from low-quality materials, leading to premature wear and tear

Works great for multiple spots of a 2000 Celica

Simple and they work. I've used them in the engine mostly to reattach the beauty covers but also in the wheel wells and bumper. They come off easy enough if needed. I use a small flat head screwdriver for that.

Pros
  • Excelente
Cons
  • The screws may break or strip during installation, making it difficult or impossible to complete the job

Worked well for my 2015 RX350

When the package arrived, I was a little concerned because they don't look identical to the originals. The finish is just a little different than the originals. But they worked very well, and snap in place with a little more authority than the originals. I decided to replace all 16 so that they all look the same. First picture shows original on top and new one on bottom. Second picture shows installed new ones. I would have given 5 star if they looked like the originals. If that's going to work

Pros
  • not bad but there us anither midel that if you press it in tge middle will ooen easily
Cons
  • The product may not be adjustable, limiting its versatility in certain situations

2012 Lexus RX 350 on my review.

Fit well for engine cover on my 2012 RX 350. Good value. Also worked in a few places on my husband's 2011 Toyota Tundra. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Very good quality of retainer and very easy to install !
Cons
  • The screws may be prone to stripping or shearing, resulting in costly repairs or replacements

you will need these when you replace rear end light bulbs.

worked like a charm. had to replace license plate bulbs which required removing four old retainers from trunk lid. retainers have barbs and self destruct on removal. vehicle manual says go to dealer to have rear end bulbs replaced.

Pros
  • As good as advertised, great prices, and product perform better than expected
Cons
  • The product may be difficult to find in stores, particularly if you live in a rural or remote area

They look great. in my review

I have not had a chance to use them yet but the package looks great and they look just like the originals. The screws may be too expensive for what they offer, particularly compared to other similar products.

Pros
  • No more noisy loose objects
Cons
  • The screws may be too expensive for what they offer, particularly compared to other similar products

Brittle plastic best in my review

These do work on my 2010 prius but are very brittle and they break if u try to get apart even with proper tool, cheap and do the job

Pros
  • IT was a good deal; they fit our Lexus perfectly.
Cons
  • The screws may not provide a secure hold on the fender liner, leading to vibration or noise while driving

Must have for a car owner

This is a great kit to have. If you own a car so many attachment point use these retainers. This kit has a great variety that will meet many needs and uses. It is also good because it includes removal tools.

Pros
  • Works better than OEM clips, very affordably priced. Looks nice when all clips are in place.
Cons
  • I bought them for an engine cover for my Lexus is250 as it said it would fit. Ended up not fitting

Worked well on 2006 Lexus GS300

I had to replace my HID lamps and most of the factory retainers on the engine covers were broken. These replacements worked fine, but they definitely feel like they are a one time use. I installed one of the engine covers and used the new retainers, but then decided I needed to look at something else under the engine cover. When I popped the retainer out, it couldn't be easily reset for a second use without breaking the retainer clips. The factory retainers that weren't broken could be…

Pros
  • For my Lexus
Cons
  • The screws may not be durable enough to withstand harsh weather conditions or rough terrain

Great buy for the quantity I needed.

I looked the quality and the quantity for the price I paid. Now my car looks complete again and I have spares for the future!

Pros
  • Size: Top head diameter 9.8mm, stem length 18mm,bottom head diameter 16mm,Fits hole diameter 6mm. Please check the hole diameter carefully to find the one you need before purchasing
Cons
  • The product may not be reliable enough for use in extreme weather conditions or other challenging situations

Works for engine splash guard on 2010 Toyota Camry LE

Worked for my 2010 Toyota Camry LE. These are clips used on trim and splash guards. They often get lost. I don’t think I needed nearly as many as came in the pack and wish I could have bought half as many for less cost. Having extras is always good though because sometimes the clips pop out. This is due to the oe design and not because of this product. Blame Toyota not this seller.

Pros
  • Used this to secure engine splash undercover and it works great.
Cons
  • The screws may be too small or too large for your particular vehicle, rendering them useless

Proper 2-Position Operation

Have been replacing retainers with best visual matches from the auto parts stores. These are proper for the car (2007 Toyota). They expand and hold when the button is pushed down 3/4s of the way. Pushing down further allows the stem to release and allow retainer removal.

Pros
  • Good quality for the price. Plastic is more durable than others I’ve tried
Cons
  • The product may not be compatible with all types of fender liners, making it difficult to find the right fit for your vehicle

Nice and Easy Secure Fasteners

Replaced several old, cracked, deteriorated and missing OEM plastic fasteners on engine shroud underneath the front hood of my car. Used pliers to remove old ones and one or two half swings with a hammer to secure the new fasteners in place. Very satisfied with durability and ease of use. Operating or instruction manual is not required. I have plenty left over for other applications.

Pros
  • Not factory but work perfect
Cons
  • The screws may be too small to provide a secure hold, leading to a potential safety hazard
