I love this hair. I had the larger part crocheted and the upper part when my head is individually braided with expressive braids. The crocheted hair says it's 12 inches, but it's a lot longer. We loosened the curly end by keeping it straight and using the heat of a blow dryer. Now at least 16 inches. The downsides were that the hair smelled funny when it came out of the pack and 2 of the 6 packs were larger than the other 4 packs but you don't notice that once you put it in. Overall 5 stars
