Last year I used warm eye compresses that can be used in the microwave to control dry eyes. It's very calming and one of the few things that actually helps my condition. The problem is that you have to warm them up for 30 seconds to activate the heat. I saw this USB powered version and based on other people's opinions I would give it a try. It would be great to be able to use a warm compress in the car, hooked up to my bed etc. Thing barely gets warm and takes a good 5 minutes to get to that level. I've been trying this for 16 minutes just waiting to see if it gets warmer on the highest settings and no it doesn't. Please do yourself a favor and just buy one of the $10-$15 microwave versions. They work infinitely better than this junk. I very rarely write reviews, but I feel the need to warn people against it. A large number of positive reviews are either fake or written by people who have never tried the real thing.
