I bought these for my 2002 Tahoe and they are definitely brighter than standard bulbs (top original, bottom new white). LEDs). There are no "hot spots" that many have warned about on the forums, and that was nice. The only thing to watch out for is the polarity and the plastic mounting tabs. If they screw onto the cluster as expected then it flies out of contact point and they don't work so you have to turn them back a bit. If they still don't light up, unplug the bulb, flip it over and try again and that should help.
