Because this is a man made electrical relay, the click is not the sound of a relay closing a circuit and lighting a turn signal like a relay would. So the blinking and clicking are unrelated and when I installed this on my computer there was sometimes a click between the blinking arrows. It's weird that the clicks and blinks are out of sync, but as long as that doesn't bother you, I recommend this device. A previous OEM ACDelco GM flasher relay failed after 2.6 years on my 1982 Firebird Trans Am. But since it's a man-made electrical relay, it should last much, much longer. Just take a look. In addition, this electrical relay is also suitable as a replacement for the flashing hazard warning lights.
