Worked great. for a month.

Well that seemed like a good deal. Worked great for about a month and then I started noticing minor glitches where my USB keyboard wouldn't work when connected to this KVM. I can connect directly to my laptops and it works great. Now it's gotten to the point where it won't work at all when connected to KVM and I'm back here to replace it. Rather spend a little more money and buy something more reliable. Mine died at about 45 days.

Small; does the job; EDID emulation works

I bought this KVM to share a 4k@30Hz monitor between a Displayport laptop and an HDMI laptop (for work and home, both running Windows 10). I leave my email application open on the primary display and extend the display to a second monitor. I needed an inexpensive Displayport -> HDMI adapter to connect a Displayport laptop. Because the dynamic EDID emulation works when I toggle KVM, any windows that are on the extended display stay there and are still there when I toggle back. My only minor…

Best KVM I've ever used

I've been looking for the perfect KVM for 8 years now. Basically to switch between my PC and my work computer without them being connected to the same network. The main problem with most KVMs is the switching speed, which can be around 4 seconds. I've tried 5 different KVM types over the years including the expensive DDM and all have failed in one way or another. This KVM blew me away with its instant switching speed. Probably less than 0.5s. The construction is solid and I like that too. I…

So far so good with external devices

I've wanted a device like this with dual HDMI inputs for a long time, but reviews from everyone have had serious quirks or worse. I found this one recently and it looked better so I took a chance. Been using it for a week now, it works PERFECTLY. Easy-to-access single button on the front with a pleasant touch and clear backlit PC1/PC2 next to it. Switching between computers is very fast. Before I bought it, I was a little unsure whether the USB cables on the back looked like old-fashioned…

Great little KVM with EDID support; working well after 6 months

When I upgraded my monitor to 4K, I replaced my previous KVM switch to take advantage of the better resolution. I don't play games on my computer, but I program and do a lot of spreadsheets that require good detail. I use both my work and home computers most of the day, so a KVM switch is a must. Setting up a dual screen monitor for work (dual screen = laptop screen + external monitor). Then, after a longer time than I care to admit, I finally lowered the output frequency to 30Hz and everything

Great KVM switch for 2 PCs

I use it to quickly switch between work and home PC. I'm making a simple transition between a shared keyboard, mouse and monitor. There is virtually no lag when switching between computers. Since the device isn't powered, it can't support many more devices connected for sharing (for example, I have a wireless dongle for mouse and keyboard, leaving the front USB port free. Tried the camera through to use, no dice (but I didn't expect that to work either.) Maybe a powered USB can push through…
