    Fantastic sub! the best in car electronics

    I replaced my old Sony device with this one. Installation was easy and the sound quality is fantastic! I hear a lot more bass and it's definitely great! Basically a good device!

    Better than I thought

    Sounds good. I replaced the Challenger 8" subwoofer with this as a budget alternative and it sounds good. It's powered by a factory amp so isn't very loud but my car stereo has a nice rich bass tone.

    Excellent subs. on Car & Vehicle Electronics

    Bought these to use in a special case under my back seat. I was very happy with them and the price was great. 8 does not hit as hard as the larger subwoofers, but still reproduces low frequencies flawlessly. I also really like the spring-loaded attachment of the speaker cables.

    Great bang for your buck!

    This is an amazing sounding little subwoofer. Holds power well and is loud. Works well in very small perforated or sealed boxes. Sounds so good I added a second one. Out represents some of the most popular brands. If you're working with a small subwoofer room, this will definitely work for you.

    Great OEM replacement!

    I bought this subwoofer to replace the factory subwoofer in my 2002 Chevy Tahoe. The speaker stood perfectly without any changes (apart from drilling 4 new mounting holes). The fit was snug and required work with a rubber mallet, but no complicated setup. The sound is a huge improvement over the stock speaker. I highly recommend this product.

    Exploded after 3 months

    My sub exploded after about 3 months of use. The sound quality was pretty good when it worked. I replaced my previous Planet Audio 8" subwoofer with this one. This sounded much better than Planet Audio. I threw away the 8" subwoofers and went for the 12" kicker. BIG difference in sound. More money for 12". There is not much difference in price, and space savings are almost non-existent.

    Best $13 I've ever spent

    You can't find a better $13 subwoofer. I've had it for almost a year and it's still throbbing. I recently saw Big D Wiz on YouTube intentionally blow up a $20 12 inch version of this and it held up a lot longer than advertised and then he enlarged it a little and that was it it. At the same time, you're not chasing clipping, and they'll sound great and long. I still can't believe it was only $13. If someone has a bad rating about them don't take them seriously because they are stupid and either

    Excellent outdoors (endless partition)

    I bought these for a bazooka. Had one running for a while. Much better sound than the original high-end bazooka woofer. I then pulled it out of the tube and placed it in the trunk of my 2004 GTO. Wow! They drop low and also handle mid-bass down to around 120Hz (probably higher, but my door speakers handle it). Looking at the thiele/small settings of these subwoofers, one would assume that Free Air would not work. Well, that's far from true. These things make a lot of noise. I've tried an 8"…

    My subwoofer blew up after about 3 months of use. The sound quality was pretty good when it worked. I put my previous Planet Audio 8" subwoofer through it replaced this. This one sounded much better than Planet Audio. I threw away the 8 inch subwoofers and went for the 12 inch kicker. BIG difference in sound. Spend more money on 12 inch.     Good speaker for the price

    After reading other reviews this speaker seems to work well as a subwoofer, but I use it as a mid-bass, with a 2kHz cutoff. Good and clear sound in this range. The only issue I had is the stamped mild steel frame. Both speakers I ordered had slight bends in the mounting flange that I was able to bend with my fingers. After installation, however, there are no problems. IMHO, this speaker is expensive.

    So I bought these for bazooka tubes. Use one for a while. Much better sound than the original, more expensive version of the Bazooka woofer. I then removed it from the tube and placed it in the back deck of my 2004 GTO. Wow! around 120Hz (probably higher, but my door speakers can handle it).
