So I bought these for bazooka tubes. Use one for a while. Much better sound than the original, more expensive version of the Bazooka woofer. I then removed it from the tube and placed it in the back deck of my 2004 GTO. Wow! around 120Hz (probably higher, but my door speakers can handle it). Looking at the thiele/small settings on these subwoofers, one would assume that Free Air would not work well. Well, that's far from the truth. These things make a lot of noise. I've tried an 8" boxy kicker and several 12" boxy subs and none of them worked as well as these two 8" subs. I'm writing this review because I haven't seen anyone mention Free Air. So if you can seal the aft deck well. It's a good choice. You don't want to spend a lot of money on subs. Highly recommended.
