Birthday present for 10 year old daughter

She was very happy with it and took beautiful pictures with it. In fact I did a lot of research to find a camera that is easy to use but takes high quality photos and is not expensive but not too cheap either. This camera will serve her for many years. Here's what I looked for and found in this camera: 1. "Anti-shake" - there is image stabilization - important for children and my wife2. Zoom - 5x3. Modes - Easily select shooting modes for different situations.4. Good LCD size - 2.7 inch5. More…

Not enough for my needs.

I wasn't expecting much from Canon PowerShot after reading the reviews before buying, but Canon is a good name and how bad can it be? I needed a pocket camera as my Lumix couldn't be repaired before a trip to Turkey and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a camera that I would probably keep as a spare. Well - I was wrong... that was bad. While the Canon's outdoor shots came out well, indoor shots get blurry in low light if you don't need a flash. A 5x zoom lens is not suitable for shooting

Not what I expected

I received this camera to replace a broken Sony Cybershot. I saw a lot of good reviews and even did some research comparing it to other similar cameras. From what I've read I've found this to be a good family camera with some good features that help with autofocus and the like. I was very happy to test it after reading all the good stuff, but once I started testing all of its features I found that it didn't live up to all expectations. Pros: The color of the video button. Cons: Most photos are…

I bought this after reading some negative reviews and partly dismissing them, believing that some people are not used to digital cameras and don't need perfect lighting to get good, clear pictures. This is the first product I am returning to Revain after 10 years of ordering online. After charging the battery, I took some pictures around the house. The first thing I noticed and didn't like was that the display was incredibly grainy. I've never seen anything like this on any of my digital…

Cannon PowerShot A2500 is a very good camera with a range of

The Cannon POWER SHOT A2500 is advertised as 'Point and Shoot' so I researched the camera for my own use. I had a Panasonic HM-TA2, which was great for basic point-and-shoot shooting, but it broke in an accidental bump this winter (don't ask). The Panasonic was basically a point and shoot, with not many changes, just a few options, the only downside being the battery isn't swappable. I wanted to find an inexpensive POINT AND SSHOT and this camera caught my eye. You really have to look at what…
