I used it as a winch trigger on my truck mounted crane. The crane has wireless remote control and I was afraid it would start driving on the road so I connected it to the winch motor cable to use as a shut off if that happened.

I liked the compact size and the ability to reset it if there was ever a reason to 'strike'. Using 4AWG wire, I could barely thread the insulated wire through the rubber grommets to secure it in the metal screw connectors. The plastic bushings were just the right size so I was surprised, but it took some effort to actually finish the connections.

This design is ideal for car audio installations with an additional powerful amplifier. The best part is that you don't have to keep changing the fuse, if you mess something up during installation, just reset it. It's also great if you want to do without the extra bass or if your wife is driving!

Installation as easy as you do. If I had one complaint it would be that it's nowhere near waterproof. It's important to keep the fuse as close to the battery as possible, but remember that if it's really wet and you're driving through puddles, you can either unplug everything together or put it in a bag and wrap the ends with you Duct tape. Either way, it works. And that's important.

A major advantage over a fuse is that the device is powered off by simply pressing a button. Easy one-hand operation to turn on and off. Using OFC 4 AWG wire on a 60A breaker. The wire is very well hidden in a protected space, so exposed copper doesn't stand a chance. Also, unlike some devices, there is a nice deep resting well for the copper, allowing the Allen screw to cut hard into the copper. Really happy with it.

Great form factor and waterproof case. Use it as a master switch and manual switch on my personal solar generator. Inserts for different size wires are good, although strictly speaking you shouldn't be using wires smaller than the size of the switch, so this is redundant - I think it's because they can use the same body for different size switches. . It was also a wise decision to have extra mounting screws for both metric and imperial allen wrenches. Very nice for such a cheap price.
