Description of Cerrxian 3.5mm 4 Pole Stereo TRRS Audio Video Male to 4 Screw Terminal Female Headphone Replacement Solderless Balun Converter Adapter (2-Pack): Efficiently Connect Headphones without Soldering

One truth about working with audio, you always need the cable or adapter when you don't have in your toolbox. That's why we choose these terminal-block audio connectors . No soldering required! Use stranded or solid core wire and a small screw driver to create custom wiring jigs. Connecting single wires with open cable heads to your 3.5mm jack. It has four total conductors - three signal and a ground as opposed to a more common stereo jack's two. Gold plated for maximum signal transfer & durability. It is more convenient to use more quickly without welding.

Functions as advertised

I used these gizmos for use with an XBOX Handicap Controller which has 3.5mm TRS and TRRS input jacks. TRS connects to the XBOX on/off buttons and TRRS connects to the X/Y inputs of the XBOX analog stick. This contraption I'm reviewing here applies only to the TRRS 4-loop trip (tip/ring/ring/sleeve) contraption. RogerLouis April 9, 2020

Pros
  • More convenient to use, faster without welding.
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

Nice part, but it doesn't work with .

The product is good but does not work with the Xbox One stereo headset (double ear with microphone arm). The tip doesn't touch inside and the microphone doesn't touch. Only the right ear works. For those who read, red is the right ear, blue is the left ear, white is the microphone, and black and copper is the ground. The labeling of this plug also does not correspond to this circuit diagram. The video on the connector is where the black and copper wires go, and the white is where the ground on…

Pros
  • Connect individual wires with bare cable heads to a 3.5mm jack.
Cons
  • I will write later

Ground and microphone (V) exchanged for TRRS standard.

I bought a headset that ended up with a proprietary 3.5mm jack, so I had to re-solder some stuff. This allowed me to test and adjust without worrying about soldering or a small space. I had more trouble with the headset wiring than the plug itself. Taking a star off for the fact that the labels are upside down, but other reviewers have noted that this is to be expected. console controller.
