I was excited to try out these bobbins for my beading project, but unfortunately, they did not meet my expectations. As a result of my tests, I determined that they were not very durable and kept unraveling during use. The only positive thing I can say is that they come in a variety of colors, but that doesn't make up for the poor quality. Save your money and invest in better beading supplies.

These bobbins do what they're supposed to and they look good too. I can write the DMC number on it. There is no slot for the free end of the thread, but that can easily be fixed with scissors. (Even if the embroidery is not cropped.)

I bought good polyester threads on very bad spools. I decided to rewind it as it wouldn't fit in my sewing machine. I've tried plastic and chipboard options, but the thread was so strong I had to use 2 and sometimes 3 at a time to keep the thread holders from twisting. I remembered having these very thick pieces and they turned out to be a great choice. I ended up buying 2 more sets. I wish they were less expensive. I bought mine from Cosmos Tech&Leisure.
