CS Battle Game Plastic Toy Grenade - Aevdor CS-Grenade For Enhanced Gaming Experience Review

This seller should be reported for not putting an EXPLICIT warning on the product that it's not suitable for younger ages. This "toy" is good for 13 and older, but my 5 yo son was badly hurt playing with it while he was loading it. It injured his eye and face because the springs inside are very powerful. The product does what it's supposed to, but it JUST IS NOT SAFE for younger kids. We thought that as a Nerf related product it would be suitable for younger ages, but it definitely is NOT.

I ordered three of these (one for my oldest son, one for the boyfriend who's a big kid anyway, and one for me). They only hold about 6 rival balls and were a bit tricky to figure out at first because they don't come with instructions. There's a black piece that connects to the bottom that decides whether it goes off in the air after you throw it or whether it waits until it hits something. Either way, my kiddo love it and they work. The price was a bit high but they were worth it to my kiddo!

Worked as promised! Tons of fun. Rival balls are perfect for the grenade. Wish it could hold more balls. Will try using old nerf dart tips as recommended by other users.

The gel they are mentioning might be easy but those yellow balls are too complicated and difficult for kids to assemble.

The rival round bullets don’t fit in here that great do you have to smash them in. But for a five-year-old and he has a hard time holding the trigger plates down long enough to load.

IT APPEARS TO HOLD A LOT OF BALLS BUT IT ONLY HOLDS 3-6 NERF BALLS. NERF RIVAL BALLS ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THE PURCHASE. IT IS HARD TO CLOSE AND KEEP THE BALLS IN. WHEN YOU FINALLY GET IT CLOSED IT WORKS WELL.

All in all, the description of the product and the videos online do this product justice. When this object detonates, it launches all projectile (a maximum of 6 RIVAL rounds, 2 in each slot, which is pushing it) all in the direction it lands - towards the top. When I got it, the package was basically destroyed, I was scared to open it but when I did it was fine, everything was in there, and nothing was broken, but it wasn't the best packing inside. It was wrapped in the thinnest bubble wrap. But it reached my expectations, it worked well with airsoft bbs, and it was pretty durable when I was trying it out.I would recommend to starter players joining airsoft, maybe to experience players as well, but it won't act like a high end grenade.

My son was super excited for this to me and she thought it was going to help him win a Nerf war lol but after he tossed it it broke apart and we could not put it back together. I know it's supposed to explode and have the nerve starts going to wear but that's not what happened pieces of the grenade flew further than the darts.

Great product, arrives fast, but it pinches me every time I try to set it up or let it go off near me. The toy itself is great and does as promised. I just get hurt more than I’d like trying to use it while playing with my kids.

My son loves this and it has held up well to being thrown to the floor over and over. My only issue was that it didn’t come with anything to put in it.

Well, my 7 year old ordered this by himself. He received it he liked it for awhile. It seems like an okay toy. The top was broken off after a few too hard throws, but it actually still works so there is that. Difficult at first on how to load it, but we watched a YouTube video to figure it out.

This was bought to use in Nerf wars. It is very functional, and works similarly to a real grenade. The mechanism, however, can be damaged if it is stored in the primed position, resulting in hinge damage, rod bending, and other failures. To avoid possible damage, store in the "exploded" position.On to the actual battle effectiveness. I bought this for my son on his birthday, he loved it I bought some foam ball he cut them up and they fit like a charm. The only downside is it dose not come with dart that fit in the grenade. So you have to pay more for something like that.

It is a fun toy with a couple of things you should know.1. My 8 year old sometimes struggles to load it.2. The pin is easy to lose. I bent mine just ever so slightly which helps it stay in much better.

Although it's well-made and feels sturdy, the pictures are pretty misleading, you can only fit about 6 rival rounds into this grenade and it's a major pain to arm. It is fun to throw but hard to actually use effectively. Might be a cheap alternative for an airsoft game though, you'd have much better luck with the smaller BB's as opposed to the large rival rounds, but I've had yet to test that.
