DERMA Protection Mineral Powder - 1 Ounce Review

I am very satisfied with this product. I'm very fair and don't spend much time in the sun. When I'm away for a long time, I have a hard time reapplying the sunscreen over my makeup. The powder form makes this much easier. It's difficult to apply when it's very hot and I'm sweating. Doesn't feel like much but I know it works if my neck gets burned but my face doesn't.

I have tried many sunscreen powders. Sunscreen powder is easier to apply and doesn't feel greasy and slimy. Also easy to apply to my kids without chasing them. The downside is most of the powder was in clumps and you can't open the dispenser to loosen it. Also, you should apply it more often than lotions because it doesn't stick to the skin either. This is great for quick short trips in the sun. If you sweat, are outdoors or in water for long periods of time, stick to waterproof sunscreen.

I didn't want to spend $60 on a physical Colorscience sun brush so I found this one instead - it's amazing! The powder is lighter in color so if you are tanned or have dark skin I know I recommend it. However, I have fairly fair skin (see my photo) so I thought it worked really well for my skin type. I use it as a top coat over my makeup and often touch up during the day when I need sunscreen. It works well over makeup and glides off the sunbrush very easily!

I'm in my 30s now and was mistaken for a college student! After 2 years, this powder with sun protection factor is still my favorite. I've tried similar products at expensive beauty stores, but their ingredients and price don't come close to Derma-E mineral powder. I highly recommend it!
