Suitable for spraying oil-based or latex paints. With the 2.5mm nozzle and 1 quart aluminum cup, enables you to spray thicker paints such as polyester primers, thick enamels, latex paints and gel coats, and allows you to spray larger surfaces without having to stop. Filter ensures clean paint and air regulator allows you to have precise air control, helping you get the optimal atomization. The stainless steel needles and precision machined air caps, give you a fully atomized and consistent spray pattern for a smooth professional finish. HVLP technology provides high material transfer efficiency, eliminates paint waste and requires lower air volume, so you never have to worry about making a mess or wasting paint. Built-in 3 ergonomic anodized knobs are perfect for precise control: fluid control regulates amount of paint sprayed, pattern control adjusts the fan pattern size, and air adjustment valve provides versatility to adjust air flow. Great 2.5mm pistol! in spray guns and accessories

great cheap gun, i bought it for spraying industrial epoxy primer that didn't spray from 1.8mm. I also used it to spray the Raptor liner, works great!

Great primer gun for spray guns and accessories

Good gun for heavier paint. I used it for a 4-1-1 epoxy primer and it applies well. The price can only cheer. I don't like to spend a lot on capsules, so this one fits the bill.

I would never have bought it if I knew what kind of cap it was.

The atomizers are fine but the lid on the tumbler won't unscrew and the regulator lets air through the meter so I'll be returning it. I've never seen a lid that just sits on top of a mug. It's not even tight, it can fall off and spill the paint.

Serious HVLP pistol at a reasonable price

This is a great pistol, the quality is really good for the price. I would give five stars if the metal cup worked. I will say the customer support is 5 stars. They solved my problem without any delay. The gun shoots great and the larger 2.5mm tip allows me to spray thicker materials. If you want a well-made and well-priced HVLP pistol, I say yes, buy it. Leaking Cap - Scrap

The biggest complaint is that the cap is unthreaded and leaks when the gun is tilted to the side. So if you're trying to paint the underside of the rocker panels, the underside of the car, or even the edges of the wheel arches, the paint will ooze out of the cap when you tilt the gun. What a stupid design not to have a threaded/seal cap. If I could give zero stars I would. It makes it worse. I ended up having to seal the lid with tape to secure it in place. It's hard to tell when the parts are missing but based on some experience I would recommend avoiding it

It's really hard to tell how this product would have performed when it arrived with half the parts missing . Long story short, the air pressure regulator and paint canister were missing from the box we received (which was also improperly packed). Having several other HVLPs, I tried connecting the old tank and regulator to this one and found that the paint tank threads were either non-standard (all my others are different brands and compatible) or the threads were just poorly machined.
