Poor insulation

First. I received the device 2 days ago and was trying to figure out how long it would take for it to cool down. The left side is set at 28, the right side at 18. I put a gallon of room temperature water on the large left side. My battery is 300Wh. Everything worked as advertised, but the device lost a lot of cooling and used more battery while trying to maintain temperature. Great buy! My wife and I can only operate it around the clock with our solar system (GZ Yeti 1400). The price is really affordable and the quality is excellent.
