As a male I have to say I love the smell of these brick soaps and appreciate that with good care they will last about a month or two. The lather they produce is not overwhelming. Likewise, you can smell the soap in the shower, but it's not too strong for the scent to last all day, which I appreciate. I wanted to try this soap. I'm always open to new products. The value for $ is bad. It's better to buy 12 packs of soap with good reputation. There is nothing special about this soap. The foam is average, the smell too. it's a little big and awkward to use. I will not come back. They rely on WWII advertising. save your money

The aroma is incredible! The size is huge! Doesn't leave weird soap residue like other brands! Duke Cannon supports the military and veterans! What more could you want for soap and company. The only thing I recommend is to order from Duke Cannons site as it's half the price from Amazon! I also recommend buying the "Soap on a String" as the bars fit perfectly and it's super convenient.

I have to guess I have an old rod given what else I know about Cannon products. What a bummer - this sea scent is one of my favorites. I've known women like Duke Cannon too, but it smells just like that old blue Bliss bar I've been looking for since they stopped making it. At least it would be if it smelled like it was supposed to. It might be worth buying directly from the company rather than a third party. I would have sent it back but I wet it before realizing it didn't smell like anything.

I wanted to love this soap. I like the name, the packaging, everything. A huge, heavy block of soap arrived. There is no outline to help hold it. No rounded edges in case you drop it on your foot. The smell is pleasant but not very strong and has a slightly oily aftertaste. I was hoping for a strong "ocean waves" scent. He's not strong at all. It lathers well, cleans well and rinses off well. I will not buy this fragrance again - maybe I'll try another fragrance.

I actually tested it on my left foot because I wasn't sure how much I would like it. THAT IS AMAZING! This is the scent of freedom with a hint of a musky Eskimo woman. I love it and am confident that I will clean BOTH legs with it tomorrow. I feel like if I fully immersed myself in this product I could easily become a top notch fighter pilot or MMA fighter.
