Very short life at 20mA

I used these as directed 20 mA in a microscope illumination. I noticed that after a while the illuminator wasn't as bright as I thought it would be, but maybe it's just my memory. I used two power supplies to power a 10mA LED and a 20mA LED. After only 5 days of continuous lighting, the 20mA LED was significantly less bright than the 10mA LED. I suppose I should repeat this test at 5mA, but the bottom line is if you want them to last long don't run them at 20mA. Keep it at 10 milliamps or less.

Pros
  • 5mm LED panel: contains 100 LEDs in 10 colors (Yellow, Orange, Emerald Green, Blue, White, Red, Green, Warm White, Purple and Color Flash)
Cons
  • Not sure

Good value for money

Revain sells several variants of these kits. I received the "eboot" version of LN0628 which was satisfactory. I usually design 10mA LED circuits, but have found that I can get by with half that for indicator use. A common mistake in description is that they glow when forward biased. That's wrong: they glow when reverse-biased. When forward biased they behave like a standard diode with a voltage drop of about 0.7 volts. The longer contact labeled "anode" must be positive. You can use them with…

Pros
  • Application: Not only can they be used in the industrial field, but also in some student experiments, school science, small LEDs are good for projects
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Excellent replacement LEDs for PC builders doing case modifications

Bought because I was fed up with the night-unfriendly bright blue LEDs behind my Silverstone Raven Z ITX case (https://amzn.to/3kE0n11). I opened up the case, removed the PC/HDD backlight assembly, cut out the old blue LEDs and soldered orange and yellow. Combined with the Apevia Orange 120MM LED (https://amzn.to/3iXorLQ) fans, the gold/amber color of the LED gives my gaming PC a whole new theme and is much better to look at in the evening hours than the old piercing blue. are within the…

Pros
  • Good Repair Replacement: Mini diodes are convenient for DIY repair and repair of appliances and electrical appliances, circuit blocks; You can use them to make an LED glow stick
