DO NOT USE FOR BUTTONS! But it's still a good hit.

This punch is excellent and very easy to use. Before I knew much about button making I figured I could buy a stamp a little bigger than my 1.5 inch button maker and it would work. Well it isn't. You will need a custom sized stamp to fit the wheel perfectly. Otherwise you run the risk of trying to align it by eye and hoping it stays in place (but that never happens). Then move the middle keys and that sucks. Or the circle is a bit too big and doesn't fit in the abs (depending on the size of your

You have to overcome many shortcomings to get to one that works.

This company needs to improve their quality control before going on sale. I used to have to return two 1.5" round punches before I got two that actually worked as intended. One didn't cut all the way through and I forgot what happened to the other. Then I got one that works and then I ordered another one and it works. Now I've gone down to 1.75 inches and the first one I got was open ended and didn't cut through thick paper. Returned this one and got a replacement and after unlocking the…

Good quality punches for button machines;

I have been using EK Success stamps for many years and currently have at least 20 stamps that I use regularly. I fully vouch for the quality and recommend them. I use a 1.75" cutter for my 1.25" button machines and for small labels on products I sell. I will say buy these 100% new and don't bother with used listings (even if they say very good condition). I first bought a used/very good condition from Revain to save a few bucks and it was hell to use because it ripped printer paper without…

A little disappointed.

Okay, I took a hit once and I love it so much I'm practically exhausted. I make bottle caps. Although I use the 1-3/4" punch less, I was happy to buy it based on my experience with the 1" punch. This bad boy is big! For example, I have a large palm. Built like a tank, feels solid. It does a great job of creating perfect circles. I wouldn't expect less. I have a problem with the locking mechanism. The slider keeps popping up and sometimes pinches my hand. This is a bear coming back, I really…

Great hole punch - HIGHLY recommended

I bought this hole punch to replace the hole punch my wife uses to cut labels for her candle/wax shop. She used Fiskars Lever Punch, X-Large, Circle for about a year but the inner plastic broke. Fiskars' punch never worked perfectly, but it did its job even though the die didn't protrude far beyond the base when cut. This is NOT a problem with the EK stamp. This device is absolutely perfect. The Fiskars device claims to be a 2" punch, but it punches 1 3/4" circles. It's just what my wife needs…

Amazing circular die

I've been looking for a long time for a circular die that will cut 1.75" circles for a project I'm working on. Many 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 inches, but few 1.75 inches. After finding this product on Revain and reading the great reviews I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. I mainly cut cardboard and this punch easily cuts through thicker paper. Also, there's a viewfinder at the bottom so you can see what you're cutting out (which is really helpful for me as the circles I need to cut out are marked…
