Type of review

I have read previous reviews of these adapter rings, some of them quite negative. However, if you do whatever is necessary to ensure they are properly lubricated, these rings are top notch; Each ring should be lubricated on all threads with dry silicone grease (not mineral oil as it will pick up dirt and dust) on all threads when you first receive them by carefully and patiently unscrewing each ring and using a Q-tip on each set. flows. They get the job done but don't wind up the lens very easily

They are good and serve me well. I have a lot of 77mm filters, I have used these adapters to mount my filters on 67mm and even 49mm lenses, they work well for this purpose. They don't screw onto the lens very easily though, you have to align and align many times until you get the result you want, which never happens to me when using my decent Hoya and black and white filters (I think I've seen that somewhere Aluminum is not the best material for precision fitting, thermal expansion can affect…

Cons
  • Big and bulky

After receiving them two things became clear to me: 1) I will never use most of them. 2) They really aren't the best quality. Some of them had cross threads that I was able to make and fix, and luckily those rings weren't the kind I would ever use. Please note that if you have a metal lens, use a brass ring instead of these metal rings. Metal on metal has a bad habit of bonding. I pressed down on a flat silicone baking sheet to get even pressure to unscrew mine from the lens. It's PIA if it…
