New cartridges for 2 blades for an old razor Sensor

I have an old sensor with 2 blades. I wanted to find blades that would work with him. It helped and I got enough for a good price and actually got cartridges instead of disposable pen and razor.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • I don't remember, but something happened

Outperforms multi-blades

I used this razor a few years ago and probably gave up because of the price. I started using 3 and 5 blade razors. Big mistake. The Excel dual-blade sensor far outperforms any multi-blade configuration. Better in tight places like mouth, chin, sideburns.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Regular shaving and hair removal

I bought these to use in place of the Excel Plus sensor for women as they are hard to find, expensive and often damaged. They work well but the strip isn't as nice and not as long.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

My old trusty razor

I prefer these newer 4 and 5 blade razors. I also prefer the angle at which this is mounted on the handle. They also make it easier for me to shape the edges of the beard and I get a crisp line. It's much more difficult for me with other styles/brands. I've been using them for 20 years. In stores they can be $25 for a 10-pack, here at Revain they're $13. I used them until they got super boring. Now I can be a little less stingy with replacing a blunt cartridge.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • so far so good

Gillette keeps pushing up the price of the Sensor Excel.

I use the Sensor Excel as a travel razor because my home kit is a Merkur double-blade safety razor with shaving soap and badger hair brush. I stay in hotels 60-80 nights a year, so carrying soap and a shaving brush isn't very convenient. I've tried all the recent amazing 4.5-6 razors with disgusting blades and none of them have worked as well as the Sensor Excel. The only problem I have with the new models is that the hinge works in a way that I can't get under and around my nose. It might seem
